Finally we have a song on Coke studio India that have won the hearts of many. The line "Raavi to Chenab puchhdi..." has a meaning deeper than any of
the Five rivers of Punjab. Makes you emotional when you imagine the five
rivers as brothers and sisters separated/left behind due to partition.
The eyes of my grand parents will definitely get wet after listening to
this line and the line "Pende door pichhoraan(Peshawar) de". And hats
off to coke studio on how they brought two generations together on a platform
and loved how the new generation of punjabi singing doing justice to a
gem of song. Even though we have changed our getup(Maan Saab in
traditional n Diljit in current) the love for punjabiyat is the same
